The Iliaeb duo was founded by a choreographer, performer and visual artist, Ilia Gilbertas, and Etienne Bernardot, a visual artist using the digital tool. They have gathered around the idea of confronting the body with digital, of appropriating this tool through art, of taking it out of an exclusively virtual world thanks to the body. They are animated by the desire to disturb the perceptions of the spectators to make them wonder about the place of the innate and the acquired through the senses.

It is in this sense that the duo is invested in a reflection in relation to this medium to ultimately build a digital education. Besides the representations of their creations, the duo animates workshops around them. They also participate in Open Workshops.

The duo believes in the need to develop a critical sense of digital and its evolution, both on the Big Data side and on the commercialization of data, as well as on the augmented body and what this implies.
